A talk: “British Embassies – their diplomatic and architectural history”

On MONDAY 8 OCTOBER, 6.30pm at St Lukes Church Hall, Sydney Street, Chelsea, James Stourton will be speaking to the CHELSEA SOCIETY members and non-members about British Embassies – their diplomatic and architectural history in the wake of his very handsome book on that subject launched last year.

James is the former Chairman of Sotheby’s UK and a resident of Pimlico. He is on the Heritage Memorial Fund panel and has written the biography of Kenneth Clark and ‘The British as Art Collectors’ among others books.

Tickets will be available by phoning the Cadogan Hall ticket office 020 7730 4500 or at the door on the night. £10 with a glass of wine afterwards. Tickets are not available online.
